Peter and his wife, Sue, are native Philadelphians. They have lived in Concordville, PA for over thirty years, and are the parents of two children, Alan and Shaina (both members of the Garnet Valley Interact Club).

Peter joined the Rotary Club of Media in 1981, served in many club positions and was 1997-1998 Club President.

Peter is a founder of the Rotary Foundation of Media. Peter has served on the Board of Directors of Rotary District 7450 since 2013. Peter twice served as Secretary of Rotary District 7450 (for PDG now RID Jeffry Cadorette and for PDG Dan Bronson, now deceased).

Peter and Sue are Rotary Foundation Major Donors. Peter is a graduate of Penncrest High School, Yale University, Boston University School of Law and holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from the Temple University School of Law. Peter is currently General Counsel for a commercial real estate firm with substantial holdings in Florida (where Peter is also licensed to practice law) and “Of Counsel” to Paul, Flandreau & Berger, LLP a law firm in Media, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Peter’s professional career as an attorney focuses on real estate, business, taxation and estates.

Peter and Sue married shortly after he joined Rotary. Sue is a graduate of Lower Merion High School, Denison University, and holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Sue, currently serving her third term as President, joined the Rotary Club of Concordville Chadds Ford in 2009; in addition, Sue served as Assistant Governor for District 7450 for three years and is currently District Interact Chair. Sue volunteered on four Rotaplast missions.

Sue and Peter also had the privilege of putting two drops of polio vaccine into the mouths of babes in a National Immunization Day in India in 2015. We are “this” close!! Sue and Peter co-founded Mommy Sue’s Children, a 501(c)(3) charity oriented toward providing basic education for impoverished children in Haiti. Sue first traveled to Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010 that killed more than 250,000 people. Sue has traveled to Haiti more than 15 times;

Peter has also visited Haiti and assists Mommy Sue’s Children in many ways. Peter has served on the Board of Managers of the Rocky Run YMCA for over twenty years. Peter was the Chairman of the Building Committee from its beginning in 1995 and was instrumental in the planning and construction of the Rocky Run YMCA facilities, its opening in 2001, and expansions, and still serves. In 2002 Peter was the Rocky Run Volunteer of the Year, and in 2017 was special honoree for his long service.

Among many other volunteer activities, Peter is also Past President of the Delaware County Attorney-CPA Forum. Peter and Sue have also been active Board members of the Darlington Arts Center.
