Chuck Watson has been a member of the Rotary Club of Red Bank (NJ) since 2004 and was awarded Rotarian of the Year in 2006. He is a Past President and has held many chair and committee positions at both the club and district level. His club awarded him a Paul Harris Fellow in his year as President (2011). He was awarded the District 7500 PDG William Skidmore Club Service Award in 2016 and the District Vocational Service Award in 2018. He is on the faculty of the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) and has facilitated at the Mid Atlantic PETS every year since 2011. Chuck was the first Director of Training for the newly created District 7505. He loves to be involved in the state-of-the-art evolution of positive change – whether it’s an individual, team, club, or district.
Chuck has been married to his lovely wife Mary for 44 years. With their two daughters, they moved to New Jersey over 30 years ago. Since then they have added two sons-in-law and four perfect grandchildren to the family. Also, Mary has volunteered with Chuck to council engaged and newlywed couples.
Chuck is a retired Financial Advisor / Branch Manager of the Morgan Stanley office in Sea Girt, NJ. As a pro bono consultant, he has helped to create, organize, and sustain over 20 non-profit endowments or foundations. He has been on the Board of Directors of two foundations and currently is on the board of the Monmouth Museum. His volunteer consulting to help over 500 job seekers find employment started by founding the Monmouth Job Search Network in 2004. He is a frequent guest speaker at the two local chapters of Neighbors helping Neighbors (NhN) and both the county and state employment agencies.
Chuck earned a B.S. from Indiana University and has a USPTA Certification as a teaching tennis pro. He has competed locally and nationally in the USTA and WTT. Chuck also enjoys playing soccer and mediocre golf.
